John Mayer is dating Rachel Green!

Unless you have been living under a rock you have heard that John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston are an item. They have been seen together several times in the past few weeks in Miami, Orlando, and most recently in New York City.

Although I am a fan of both of them, I can't help but to think about how odd it is that John Mayer is dating Rachel Green. Think about this for a second; Friends was on TV from 1994 to 2004. In 1994, John Mayer was 17 years old and was NOT famous. John didn't really become well known until around 2000.

I am only guessing, but I would think that John probably watched an episode or two of Friends between 1994 and 2000 and possibly beyond...and I am sure he never thought that he would get to live out most men's fantasies of dating Rachel (it's always so cold) Green.

It must be weird to go from being a non-celebrity watching someone as a character on TV and then fast forward ten or so years and you are dating her.

I guess it's entirely possible that John has never seen an episode of Friends. I personally, know someone who has never watched the show - EVER.

Just once in an interview with John I would like for someone to ask him, "So, did you ever think that you would one day get the chance to date Rachel Green, a.k.a, Jennifer Aniston?". I would love to hear and see him answer that one!

Open Letter to Jennifer Aniston

You are with the wrong John. Back in December 2006 I blogged about how I thought you, Jennifer Aniston should hook up with John Stamos. I never said anything about John Mayer!!

Don't get me wrong; I am a FAN of John Mayer. He is talented and sexyhot, but I think that John Stamos is the right John for you.

John Stamos is older, more stable, and he is GREEK just like you. Just think of all the gorgeous GREEK babies you can have.

Lindsay Lohan - Are you living it right?

I do not make a habit of posting pictures of celebrities and commenting about them or their lifestyles, but this here, what I am going to say, has been festering for some time now.

The pictures below are of Lindsay Lohan and her friend Samantha Ronson having lunch in NYC. I ask you: Does Lindsay look like she has money? Does Lindsay look like she is a famous movie star? Forget that! Does Lindsay look like a girl?

Before I go any further, let me say, Lindsay is a beautiful girl, but she is letting herself go in the worst way and in my opinion not taking full advantage of what she has achieved and the opportunities before her.

How many girls or women out there wouldn't bust at the seams to have the money and opportunity this girl has? I don't know what other girls would do if they had Lindsay's money or the connections she has, but I know what I would do.

I would buy a house in California and The Hamptons and have fun decorating them. In those houses, I would host many dinner parties and brunches.In between all the parties that I would be hosting, I would go to the salon weekly for manicures, pedicures, and massages. I would work out every day with a personal trainer. I would attempt to present myself in a way that is classy and fun. I would share my good fortune with my family and friends through group trips to visit far off places. Overall, I would fully utilize what I have to create a full and enriched life for myself and the lives of my family and friends.

Perhaps knowing that I would want to live this way can only come from seeing the situation from the less fortunate outside and through older and wiser eyes. And it is through those older and wiser eyes that I know what I wouldn't be doing.

I wouldn't spend every night in clubs drinking and smoking. I wouldn't dress like a poor college kid (no offense to those who are still fashionable while poor and in college) and I wouldn't be caught dead looking like I didn't shower while out eating lunch. Does Lindsay shower before she leaves the house? I also wouldn't allow my career to tank miserably while I party myself into rehab. After all, there is an abundance of potential there. I would find myself a mentor in the business (not your mother) that had nothing to gain but "a feel good feeling" to help me straighten myself out and take back the life that I was meant to have.

Come on Lindsay, get it together for yourself, for your little sister, and for all of us Long Island girls!

Goodbye Michael Johns....

In the most shocking elimination episode yet this season, Michael Johns is sent packing. Was it because he went first? It must have been, because I saw his performance and it was better than at least two others. There is no way to explain why he is not going on to next week. Farewell MJ.
